MUSIC HALL PRODUCTIONS (since 1988) Scripts, Music, Lyrics and Direction for original musical comedies: Blackbeard, Gumshoe, Secret Agent Guy, The Pecos Pest, The Fatal Glass, Easy Money, and The Winter Rose(Denver Drama Critics Award - Best New Play 1996). Also created music and comedy variety revues. All shows were long-running commercial productions over 100 weeks on stage at the Heritage Square Music Hall, a 350-seat dinner theater in Golden, Colorado. |

Design, Production and Direction of 12 week run of Gumshoe at the Avenue Theatre, Denver (1991) and 8 week run of Punch at the Palace Theatre, Aurora (1990). GASLIGHT ENTERPRISES (1980 - 1985) Artistic Director and Associate Producer for two popular year-round dinner theatres producing original musicals in signature comic style: G. William Oakley's Opera House in Denver and The Goldenrod Showboat on the Missisippi River in St. Louis, MO. Worked with writers, composers, designers and producers to develop and direct up to five scripts per year at each location, over 25 productions in all. In each case also created and directed original musical comedy revues, also writing sketch comedy material and original songs. |
